Accountant

Are you an experienced and driven Senior Accountant? Do you work well with different departments and have experience preparing audits? Then we are looking for you!

As a Senior Accountant, you will be an essential link in the Finance Team and will work closely with various departments to improve our financial processes.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing daily accounting activities in NetSuite.
• Coordinating the monthly and year-end closings, supporting the annual audit, and investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance.
• Managing and improving our accounts receivable, preparing financial analyses and reports, and preparing federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Performing daily account reconciliations.
• Continuously improving our accounting systems and procedures, and performing other accounting tasks as required.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Supporting the automation of various processes within Finance and Accounting.

• A competitive salary between €4,500 and €5,500 gross per month, based on experience;

Our client is a rapidly growing FinTech organization focused on simplifying financial processes for small to medium-sized businesses. By offering BNPL solutions, they help optimize conversion rates, reduce fraud, and relieve customers from the operational burden of collections and overdue payments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience;
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, IFRS, and auditing/internal control measures;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data handling and financial analysis;
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) and the ability to work independently;
• Experience in the payment industry (FinTech, BNPL) and familiarity with NetSuite.
