What are you going to do?What you will do:
As an assistant team leader at McCain, you will have the following responsibilities:
*Lead and coordinate the employees on the packing line, setting an example.
*Ensuring quality and safety within the packing department.
*Proactively solve problems and improve processes in cooperation with the technical department.
*Ensuring a structured transfer of work between the different shifts.
*Replacing the Team Leader Packing in his absence and working closely with other departments such as QA and technical service.

Where will you work?You will be working in the factory in Rilland (Zeeland). At McCain Appetizers they offer an energetic, no-nonsense workplace with friendly colleagues, clear communication and a strong focus. The goal is to make high-quality, frozen breaded vegetable and cheese snacks that can be found in supermarkets, restaurants and fast food chains around the world. Examples include breaded mushrooms, cheese snacks and deep-fried broccoli or cauliflower.

*Demonstrated experience in a leadership position within the manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
*Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills.
*A results-oriented attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.
*Flexibility to manage a team of 40 employees.
*You will work a 3-shift schedule Monday through Saturday mornings, 8 hours per day, with variable working hours of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
