We are looking for a Finance Lead (Marketing) who can start in January. The role is for 40 hours per week, for 12 months.


What does the role involve?

We are seeking a Finance Lead to partner with the marketing team, focusing on financial planning and demand creation investments for EMEA Brand Marketing. This role is critical in managing and optimizing the GEO Brand Marketing budget, leading financial processes, and providing actionable insights to improve spend efficiencies. You will play a key part in bridging financial strategy with marketing execution while working cross-functionally with directors and senior leaders.


What will you be doing?

  • Partner with GEO Brand Planning and Marketing leads to manage and optimize the GEO Brand Marketing budget.
  • Lead FP&A for Brand Marketing, monitoring financial results and key KPIs.
  • Provide insights into performance compared to targets, recommending strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the month-end closing process, controlling, and forecasting activities.

Strategic Investment Support:

  • Conduct investment prioritization modeling, providing guidance on business case development.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to quantify and capture the value of associated investments.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to improve planning, forecasting, and overall financial processes.

Decision Support & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to manage Goods Receipts (GRs) and Accounts Receivables (ARs).
  • Communicate financial challenges and solutions to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally as a lead, influencing key decisions without direct authority.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel (advanced formulas, calculations) and Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Support the rollout of data strategies and reporting automation.
  • Provide ROI analysis, tracking ODC (Other Direct Costs) investments, and brand KPIs.
