Wat ga je doen?We are looking for an Inventory Planner to manage and optimize our inventory processes. This role focuses on planning and executing the monthly buy process while monitoring key inventory-related KPIs such as production, delivery, and fulfillment. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure inventory levels align with business strategies and revenue goals.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Experience: Proven background in operations or supply chain, ideally within inventory or supply planning.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
- Communication: Excellent cross-functional communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders effectively.
What You Will Work On
As part of the Inventory Management team, you will collaborate with Marketplace Operations, Integrated Marketplace Planning, and Merchandising to:
- Forecasting: Create monthly buy volume forecasts to optimize demand fulfillment and minimize excess inventory.
- Execution: Analyze inventory levels and customer order books to execute purchase requisitions and adjustments.
- Production Tracking: Monitor production progress with global and factory liaison offices.
- Risk Management: Communicate potential risks such as on-time delivery and order fulfillment issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop smart buy plans, maintain optimal inventory levels, and coordinate with teams on liquidation strategies.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute reports to track and update inventory metrics for the business.
- System Updates: Perform ad hoc reporting and system updates as needed in tools like SAP.
A typical day involves analyzing large datasets, managing purchase orders, updating inventory metrics, and collaborating with liaison offices to provide insights and resolve issues.
