As a Junior Sales Support Specialist at HEINEKEN, you will be part of the Customer Service team and play an essential role in supporting the sales process across various phases. You will work closely with the external sales team and liaise with multiple internal departments to ensure the smooth processing of contracts, data management, and customer support. By handling administrative tasks, providing detailed insights, and ensuring client satisfaction, you’ll contribute to the success of HEINEKEN’s commercial operations. No two days are the same in this dynamic role, and you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting the team with your proactive approach and eye for detail.

What are you going to do?

·        You will manage administrative tasks including processing and verifying contracts, offers, and documents for the external sales team.

·        You will gather necessary data for closing new contracts, including information about financing, guarantees, rental agreements, etc.

·        You will process customer data and manage it within the internal systems.

·        You will calculate and process discounts and bonuses for horeca clients, ensuring all discrepancies are flagged and resolved.

·        You will address customer inquiries and complaints that are forwarded by the Service Agent, providing thorough responses and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.

·        Support the execution of various internal development programs and team development initiatives within the wider Customer Service and Sales teams.

·        Contribute to maintaining and enhancing current sales support tools, policies, and processes.

Where will you work?

You will be working within the Sales Support team, part of the broader Customer Service department located in Leiden. You will report directly to the Team Lead of Sales Support. The team works closely with various internal functions such as the external sales team, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth operations in the sales and customer relationship processes.

What do we ask?

Education: A minimum of MBO+ level qualification, with experience in sales, commercial administration, or a related field.

Functional skills:

·        A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organizational skills.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English.

·        Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP and CRM Dynamics is a plus.

·        Strong customer focus, always prioritizing business needs and striving for optimal outcomes.

·        A team player with a collaborative mindset and an empathetic approach to solving problems.

·        An eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and contract processing.

Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English.
