What are you going to do?The Specialist II, Merchandising Information Operations will be part of the EMEA Merchandising Operations team which is part of the wider EMEA Consumer x Marketplace Operations team, reporting to a Merchandising Information Manager. You will be in close contact with the Consumer merchandising team for the relevant /assigned segment. Daily you will collaborate with cross functional teams like supply chain, DSM, Pricing, Nike Direct and PGTC.
- Ensure Merchandisers work in the most effective and efficient ways by demonstrating co-ownership of driving seasonal dates & gates, lead process execution, drive data accuracy and have an innovative mindset within the consumer and operations team.
- Proactively communicate, ensure X-functional alignment and mutual understanding around key strategic initiatives processes: i.e. Launch & Release, Consumer Flow, Key Looks, Must Buy List, EPOD, Minimum exceptions and samples.
- Manage, drive and execute the directed Global / Geo line plan adoption with an end-to-end vision and maintain product attributes in all relevant merchandising owned system and tools (for example MMX and AV).
- Lead, drive and own Merchandising data consistency within the merchandising system landscape (and related downstream systems) to make sure data is complete, on-time, and accurate.
- Provide merchandising relevant trainings to Merchandising team regarding tools / systems, calendar management as well as on processes.
- Engage as a subject matter specialist in the preparation and implementation of any future system/tool functionality and support a smooth transition.
- Act as a strong cross functional partner to enable end-to-end process execution, data management on a daily basis within the Merchandising and C X M operations teams.
