As an MRP Specialist at McCain, you ensure optimal material planning and timely availability of raw materials. What are you going to do?As the MRP Specialist – Direct Materials, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply planning of raw materials and direct materials for McCain Appetizers' production sites. Your role ensures materials are available on time, aligns with production planning, and maintains optimized stock levels. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to support operational efficiency and meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Material Requirements Planning (MRP):
• Calculate raw material needs for all McCain Appetizer plants on a monthly basis, forecasting for an 18-month horizon.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to material supply and communicate with impacted departments.
• Place and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand while adhering to working capital objectives.
• Coordinate with Marketing, R&D, and Data teams for packaging design updates and new product introductions.
Coordination and Reporting:
• Collaborate daily with the supply demand planning and production planning teams.
• Support cross-functional projects involving R&D, Marketing, and Engineering.
• Ensure all materials are processed and received in the system for timely supplier payments.
System and Policy Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to McCain procurement policies and agreements.
• Participate in supplier meetings and manage invoice confirmations.
• Uphold communication standards to ensure timely feedback to all stakeholders.

What do we ask?Education and Skills Requirements
• Bachelor or university degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
• Experience in supply chain management, ideally in food manufacturing or similar industries.
• Proficiency in SAP/IBP or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with working in a matrix organization structure.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English (oral and written).
