As a Production Planning Specialist you are responsible for planning and all kind of scheduling activities. Please read below all responsibilities;
- Create production plans and schedules in alignment with sales order (SO) fulfillment, input from the production planning team (PGM), and other relevant factors.
- Evaluate back orders, existing orders, and forthcoming orders to determine priority and effectively plan and schedule production activities.
- Monitor the execution of the production plan and promptly address any potential issues.
- Prioritize and plan operations to optimize performance and minimize delays.
- Compile and submit status and performance reports, including efficiency metrics, turnaround time, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and present these reports to Production Managers.
- Analyze any delays or interruptions and make necessary adjustments to the production schedule to meet deadlines.
