What are you going to do?We are seeking a Statutory & Tax Accountant who will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of statutory and tax accounting functions within EMEA. As a Statutory & Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, including: Reporting: Financial statements, corporate income tax (CIT), VAT, B2G requirements, waste reporting, statistical and bank reporting. Advisory: Acting as the main point of contact for business partners on statutory and tax accounting inquiries and resolving escalations. Key Accountabilities Governance & Compliance: Ensuring accurate and complete tax submissions (VAT, CIT, B2G) for a group of legal entities, following a robust internal control framework, with a focus on tax compliance. Process Management: Managing and understanding end-to-end tax-related finance processes, executed internally or by third-party providers, to ensure financial reporting accuracy. Documentation: Maintaining documentation of statutory and tax procedures, adapting to local requirements. Stakeholder Relationships: Building strong relationships with internal teams (Tax, Controlling, General Accounting), outsourcing partners, and external stakeholders. Financial Statements: Supporting audited financial statements with a clear understanding and management of relevant areas of responsibility. Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly B2G reports (e.g., statistical, central bank, e-invoicing, e-reporting). Month-End & Quarter-End Support: Assisting with close processes related to VAT and CIT. Third-Party Collaboration: Working with EY and other third-party providers to support tax compliance processes, resolving issues with a focus on continuous improvement.

What do we ask?- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years in finance or accounting.
- Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or local equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong technical expertise in statutory and tax accounting.
